Congressman Mike Carey is looking for interns this spring, summer, and fall in our Washington, D.C. and Columbus offices. Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter. The best qualified candidates will be contacted for the interview process.

The Congressional District Office Internship Program gives college students a unique opportunity to see how Congress works up close. An internship in the district offices is a great opportunity for students to serve constituents’ needs and gain valuable work experience.

Responsibilities of a District Office Intern:

Handling constituent communications including phone calls, mail, emails and greeting constituents at the front desk
Assisting with district office events
Performing a variety of duties, such as conducting research, filing and updating databases
