WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Carey (R-Ohio-15) announced that he is now accepting requests for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY 27) general appropriations and Community Project Funding (CPF) awards.
Last year, in Fiscal Year 2026, Rep. Carey directly secured $22,504,000 for 14 projects in Ohio’s 15th Congressional District through the appropriations process, also known as “government funding.”
“I’ve been proud to personally bring tens of millions of Ohio tax dollars back to Ohio’s 15th District through the appropriations process to support critical education, infrastructure, public safety, and historic preservation projects,” Rep. Carey said. “Ohioans work hard, and I am working to make sure the taxes they pay come home to make a difference in their communities. By hearing directly from constituents about the most pressing issues, these funding requests can direct federal support for local community challenges and provide needed relief.”
Further details on submitting funding requests can be found below:
The deadline to submit a request for either a general appropriations request or specific community project is Friday, March 6, 2026, by close of business.
The funding request forms can be found on Rep. Carey’s website. More details on specific requirements for submission consideration can be found on Rep. Carey’s website under the “Services” page.
