DUBLIN, OHIO – Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Carey (R-Ohio-15), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, joined business and community leaders from the Dublin Chamber of Commerce in Dublin, Ohio to discuss how the Republican working family tax cuts package will help the area grow and thrive.
He also highlighted how the law’s expanded Child Tax Credit will help families, how the $50 billion rural health fund will preserve and protect rural health providers in Ohio, and how investment credits will create more jobs in our communities. During the meeting, Rep. Carey also discussed the negative effects of the ongoing government shutdown.
“It was great to meet with community and business leaders in Dublin today to discuss its positive economic outlook and the negative effects of the government shutdown on the community,” Rep. Carey said. “Our district is growing quickly, and we are just at the beginning of unlocking its full potential. I look forward to partnering with our industry leaders to support workers and their families as we move forward and hope my Democrat colleagues in the Senate join us to reopen the government.”
