Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Mike Carey (R-OH) was selected to serve as a member of the Committee on House Administration for the 118th Congress.

The Committee on House Administration has jurisdiction over federal election reform, day-to-day operations of the House of Representatives, oversight of the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institution, Chief Administrative Officer, Clerk of the House, Sergeant at Arms, House Inspector General, Government Publishing Office, Architect of the Capitol, Office of Congressional Accessibility Services, and the United States Capitol Police including security of the Capitol Complex for Members, staff, and visitors.
